Part 1: Logging In to SBCX

Step 1: Go to the Login Page

Visit https://osdbu.hhs.gov and select Login.
  

Step 2: Enter Your Username and Password

Use the email address you registered with as your username. Then enter your password.
Make sure your password meets these criteria:

• 8+ characters
  

• At least one uppercase letter
  

• At least one lowercase letter
  

• At least one number

• One valid special character

Step 3: Enter the Verification Code

Check your email for a temporary code from noreply@mysbcx.hhs.gov.
It expires after 30 minutes.

Part 2: Resetting Your Password

Forgot Your Password?

Click Forgot Password on the login screen and follow these steps:

1. Enter your email
   
   
2. Check your inbox for the reset link
   
   
3. Copy the temporary password
     
4. Login to SBCX
     
5. Use the temporary password to create a new password

Valid and Invalid Characters in Passwords

Valid special characters include:

• ? ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _
  

Invalid characters include:

• + = | [ ] { } < > / \ ~ and most other punctuation marks

Troubleshooting

• You have 5 login attempts before your account locks.
    
• Password reset does not work if your account is inactive (pending approval) or disabled due to inactivity.
    
• Business users: Contact your SAM.gov Government Business POC.
    
• Government users: Contact the SBCX Help Desk.
