Before registering as a Symphony Administrator for a company, follow these steps to verify the Point of Contact (POC) role at the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website.

1. SAM.gov Points of Contact are Symphony Administrators.

1. Go to SAM.gov and sign in.

2. Use the Search option and filter the results by Entity Information (See Figure 1).

3. Enter the Company name or UEI. (Unique Entity Identifier)

4. Select the company name.

2. Download a copy of the SAM record

After registering in Symphony, POCs must Submit a Ticket and provide the SAM.gov UEI and a copy of the POC information so that we can verify access.

  • The documentation must show the Point of Contact's name and email address.
  • If the user's name is not listed, Register as a Business User.

3. Register Now

SAM.gov Points of Contact are the only authorized users for an organization verified during registration on the right website for the contract vehicle (See Figure 2).

  • Registering with a group email address is not allowedOnly use an individual email account.

  • Symphony has no affiliation with SAM.gov and only uses it to verify the entity information.

  • An email address can only be linked to one company on a Symphony website.

  • Registration and administrative tasks happen in Symphony only.

  • All users must set up their preferred Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) method.

  • For security reasons, Administrators cannot add users to Symphony. Anyone seeking to become a Symphony user must register individually.

  • Direct links are available at the top of the page.

Use the Register Now link on the Sign In page
