Symphony includes the following contract vehicle links

GSA   =   ALLIANT 3      ASTRO      OASIS      OASIS PLUS      POLARIS

DHA   =   HEC      MQS-NG      OMNIBUS    (Legacy) MQS

To register as a Symphony business user, follow these steps. A link to an instructional video is available at the bottom of this page for additional guidance.

1. Click on Register Now

Click Register Now (see Figure 1) after accepting the Official Use message to start the Symphony registration process. Select the correct contract vehicle from the list above. Then follow the prompts to set up a preferred method of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) (as discussed in Step 4).

Email Requirements for Registration

All individuals must enter an email address to register for Symphony. Note:

  • An email address can only be linked to one company.
  • A one-time validation code required to continue Symphony registration will be sent to a registrants' email.
  • Group emails (accounts shared by multiple users) are not supported.

Didn't Receive the Email?

A registrant should check their spam or trash folders if an email is not received within a few minutes after they attempt to register.

Press Cancel to restart the registration process.

Register Now link appears after the FOUO page

2. Acknowledge the Checklist

Registrants must check all boxes to confirm their understanding of the requirements before continuing registration (see Figure 2). (See Symphony Authentication).

3. Register for the Organization

Enter the SAM.gov UEI for the Prime Entity seeking the contract award or holding the contract.

  • Include the CAGE code if multiple codes are assigned to the UEI.
  • Do not enter the UEI of a CTA ('Contractor Team Arrangement' Contractor, Subcontractor, or JV (Joint Venture) Member.

If the displayed information is correct, select YES to continue.

Note: Verify the CAGE code retrieved from SAM.gov to ensure the registration for the entity is correct. For incorrect registrations see Making Account Changes or Contact us.

4. Configure the Account

Create a user Account and set a Password.

For Multi-Factor Authentication, use any time-based Authenticator Application.

  • Choose an Authenticator Application or text messages.

  1. To complete this step, use an authenticator app to scan the provided QR code (do not use a personal phone camera).

  2. Enter the MFA tool-generated six-digit code (without spaces) for validation.

If unable to complete this step, contact us for assistance.

  3. A confirmation page message acknowledges successful registration (see Figure 3).
Administrators are notified to activate accounts when this message appears.Figure 3. Symphony Administrators can activate accounts once they receive this message.

Email is not an option. Users with international (non-US) phone numbers must use an authenticator app (see Smartphone Apps for MFA or MFA Browser Extensions).

5. Request Activation

Symphony displays SAM POC(s) on the confirmation page when users successfully register before an "Active" SAM POC is identified (see Figure 4)

Administrators are not registered when this list appears.

Figure 4. This list appears if an organization lacks a registered Symphony Administrator. A user seeking activation can access the Contact link to request that its SAM POC register for Symphony and sign-in using the same UEI and CAGE code.

Under this scenario, upon completing registration the user can contact us with the SAM UEI and a copy of the POC details from SAM.gov so we can verify access and activate their account.

All others seeking platform access must request it from their organization’s Symphony administrator. There is no auto-activation.

See Understanding the SAM Connection to find the administrator list at SAM.gov.

If the organization does not have a Symphony Administrator, the user can use the Contact link (see Figure 4) to request that its SAM POC register for Symphony and sign in using the same UEI and CAGE code.

The user should request that their account is changed to active on the Administration page once the SAM POC receives Administrator Access.
