Authorized program officials can use the Contract Vehicles tab on the Dashboard to send messages to their contract holders (see Figure 1).

1. Access the Contract Vehicle options
- Go to the Contract Vehicles tab on the Dashboard.
- Use the desired Contract Vehicle link.
- Select the Communications tab on the left menu (see Figure 2).

2. Choose the Communication Recipients
Messages can be sent in four ways using the Recipient Group select box when configured (see Figure 3).

- Contract Vehicle (all categories/pools).
- Use the Select All checkbox for the Recipient Group.
- Click outside the box to save the changes.
- Contract Category (one or more pools).
- Select one or more checkboxes for the Recipient Group.
- Click outside the box to save the changes.
- Small Businesses within the selected contract vehicle and category.
- Select All or one or more checkboxes for the Recipient Group.
- Click outside the box to save the changes.
- Select the checkbox for "This communication is only for Small Businesses" if available (see Figure 2).
- View Recipient Emails
- Select All or one or more checkboxes for the Recipient Group.
- Click outside the box to save the changes.
- Select the View Recipient Emails link (see Figure 2).
- View the Recipients distribution email addresses (see Setting-up Symphony Notifications for the Industry instructions).
- Use the 'Copy Email List to Clipboard' button to send a message outside Symphony (see Figure 4).

3. Compose the message
Enter the subject and message for the selected contract holders (see Figure 2). Note: Symphony will not save the message for later.

4. Send the Message
- Click the Send button to have Symphony send the communications (see Figure 2).
- Acknowledge the pop-up or cancel the action.
- Symphony should display a Please Wait message while completing the request (see Figure 5).
- A green box will briefly appear at the top of the screen stating the message has been sent.
