Making an Announcement

Announcements provide general information on the Symphony Dashboard and only specific users are given permission to add or remove these messages (see Figure 1).

A user can only remove their own announcements.


  1. Authorized Users can select +New in the Announcements section.
  2. Enter up to 255 characters in the space provided (see Figure 2). Only text is allowed.
  3. Save or Cancel the changes. The actions are instant.
