Overview of My Company Section

The My Company section within Symphony functions as the company asset library. It is used for storing and managing essential company assets used in Solicitations and Contract Management. This area allows users to compile and reuse company assets across proposals.

The Company Overview page organizes assets such as Team Members, MRCLs, projects/past performance, and business factors, offering a comprehensive summary.

1. Company Overview

The Company Overview screen displays the company name and SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) of the company acting as the prime contractor for proposals or contracts (see Figure 1). This information must accurately reflect the prime company’s details.

2. SAM Data

Data in this section is sourced directly from the SAM.gov record and serves for reference only. Any incorrect information must be updated at SAM

For changes requiring a SAM refresh in Symphony, submit a Ticket including a contract modification if applicable and an outline of the changes (see Figure 2). (See Understanding the SAM Connection).

3. Team Members

For solicitations, the prime company is the first team member in the asset library (see Figure 3). Additional team members, such as Joint Venture members, subcontractors, or SBA Approved Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture members, can be added using the Team Members tab. (See Adding Team Members/CTAs).

Team Members listed here refer to Contractor Teaming Arrangements (CTAs) and are not internal company users. (See Managing Other Business Users).

4. MRCLs

The MRCLs tab allows for adding Meaningful Relationship Commitment Letters to the company’s asset library, supporting solicitation requirements (see Figure 4). (See Leveraging MRCLs).

After adding the project details to My Company, users can add pool-specific factors related to their projects/past performance in a proposal. (See Documenting Projects/Past Performance).

6. Business Factors

For solicitations, Business Factors include systems, certifications, clearances, and other documents relevant to the company's asset library. The Business Factors for the prime company or MRCLs appear claimed or unclaimed in the overview. (See Figure 6)(See Claiming Business Factors).

7. Contracts

This section becomes active once a contract is awarded. Users can manage contract activities here for awarded contracts within a Symphony contract vehicle (see Figure 7). (See Using Symphony as a Contract Holder).

8. Documents

Files uploaded to My Company are accessible in the Documents Library, organized into corresponding folders.

  • Documents can be used in multiple proposals and across solicitations.
  • Solicitation-specific document duplicates may increase workload for both users and evaluators.
  • This view-only screen does not allow adding or removing documents.

Important
Symphony is designed for users to complete their Company Assets before starting a proposal (see Using Symphony for Proposal Intake). Changes will appear in all proposals unless a proposal has already been submitted. Once a Solicitation deadline is met, no changes are allowed to the submitted proposal to protect the integrity of the original offer.
