A Program Official (PO) will understand contract management in Symphony after reading this guide.
After signing in to Symphony, a PO for a contract vehicle will have access to Contract Management in either the Contracts or Contract Tasks tabs from the Dashboard (see Figure 1).

Contracts
The Program Office can view Contract Information for one or all Contract Holders using the Contracts tab. A PO can then select a contract number and access the following sections.
Section | Description |
Overview | A read-only screen that displays the Contract Vehicle, number, company name, and contract status. View the Points of Contact names, email addresses, and telephone numbers, if available. View the distribution email address and the company's socioeconomic status (business type). |
Points of Contact | View or update the Contract Manager and Program Manager to a Symphony-registered user, or the Distribution email address. |
Contract Modifications | Types of contract modifications are Name Change, Address Change, Dormancy, Option Exercise, Novation, General, or Re-Rep Business Size (see Figure 2). (See Implementing Contract Modifications). |
Contract Documents | View or Upload documents which are part of the contract record. |

Contract Tasks
The Program Office can view or respond to Contract Modifications using the Contract Tasks tab (see Figure 3). Requests pending actions will appear with orange shading. Click on a row to access the modification. An approved request is not complete until the status is "Signed".

- Name Change*
- Address Change**
- Novation*
- Re-Rep Business Size*
*A bilateral contract modification that either a Contract Holder or PO can initiate. These are modifications proposed by industry or the government, which do materially affect the terms of the contract.
**Unilateral contract modifications are Dormancy, Address Change, or Option Exercise. These are modifications proposed by industry or the government, which do not materially affect the terms of the contract or are specifically authorized by the contract.
