Retracting a Submission

Retract a submission for modifications in Symphony by following these steps. 


1. View your Submission

1. From the Symphony Dashboard, click on the available Solicitation to view all the available options. 


2. Select the Submitted (View) link on the correct proposal submission (See Figure 1.1).

All users can print a copy of the proposal for their records.

  

2. Modify your Submission

Only a SAM POC Administrator or the Open Market Proposal Manager can retract your submitted proposal (See Figure 2.1).


1. Select the Modify Submission button on the Proposal Details tab to retract the submission.

2. Authorized users must acknowledge the dialog box (See Figure 2.2).

Your proposal will return to the Continue Your Submission state on the Dashboard. 

  • You can make edits until the solicitation deadline. 
  • Carefully review and resubmit before the deadline. 


3. Resubmit your Offer

Only a SAM POC Administrator or the Open Market Proposal Manager can submit your proposal. 

  • Users without the correct permissions will see a message advising them to contact someone else (See Administration Basics).


1. Scroll to the bottom of the Review tab when you Continue Your Submission.

2. Certify and submit your offer if you have the permissions (See Figures 3.1 and 3.2).

Once submitted, Symphony will display the submission date and time in your local time (See Figure 3.3). 

  • There are no notifications or receipt confirmations after this step. Print or Save this page for your records.

When you Return to the Symphony Dashboard, click on the Submitted (View) link to access the Print option so you can save an updated copy of the submission for your records. 

  • Once the Solicitation deadline is met, Symphony will close and all assets will be frozen.
